Fynvola's Services

Lady Dane Farmhouse provides a happy and safe environment and meets the needs of older learning disabled people. Each person is treated as an individual, and they can end their days in comfortable surroundings, secure in the knowledge that they are receiving the best possible specialised nursing and palliative care. A number of our residents, benefitting from the atmosphere and dedicated care given since they joined us, surprise and delight us with their abilities and strength of character.

 

Fynvola provides nursing services for up to 15 people at any time. Whilst older and terminally ill people may be with us for only a short time others may be with us for some years.

The facilities and services provided include:

 

  • Qualified Nursing staff at all times
  • Quality Support staff
  • Specialised bedrooms and bathrooms
  • Access to local physiotherapy and occupational therapy
  • A range of social and day activities
  • Varied and nutritional, tasty meals
  • Transport provision
Whilst full time residents will be our priority we recognise that there may be a need for respite care. As a community service we will aim to meet this need, and so one or two beds will be available for respite, crisis situations or convalescence.

 

Beneficiaries will come mainly from Kent, as well as from the South-East of England where local authorities need specialist care outside of their area.
